Salute To The Greatest Generation

October 10, 2010

In 2010 we honored 98 WWII Veterans from Delaware County with a sold out audience at the K of C in Springfield. It included Merchant Marines that had never been honored in the past along with the men and women that served our country in the Greatest Generation. Bill Walsh, Congressman Joe Sestack's Chief of Staff, handed out Congressional Recognition Awards to all 98.  Impersonators from those tears circulated and entertained those in attendance including FDR's WWII speech to Congress declaring War on Japan.
